Uploaded your photos and they're not showing on the listing — blank thumbnails, an endless spinner, or an "image can't be processed" error. It's almost always the file, not your account.
Common causes and fixes
- Unsupported format. eBay wants standard JPG/JPEG or PNG. HEIC (iPhone) and WebP often fail silently — convert them to JPG and re-upload.
- File too large or too small. Very large files can time out; tiny ones get rejected for being under the minimum. Resize and compress to a sensible size (long side ~1600px, a couple of MB).
- Upload glitch. Remove the photo, hard-refresh, and re-add it. Try a different browser or the desktop site if the app is stuck.
- Slow connection. Big batches over weak Wi-Fi drop out — upload fewer at a time.
The reliable fix
Most "not showing" cases are just a HEIC/WebP file. Convert your photos to JPG and shrink them under the limit first, then upload — they'll show every time.
